Rules of order

General rules

1. Liability: The tenant is liable for all damage caused by the tenant to rooms, apartments, common rooms and the furniture placed in them by the dormitory. Smoking indoors is considered a breach of contract and may result in high costs for cleaning and sealing upon vacating.
2. Rent: The tenant is obliged to pay rent when due. Repeated failure to do so may result in immediate eviction.
3. Noise: Must not be a nuisance to other residents either indoors or outdoors on the dormitory premises. Especially between 10:00 pm and 07:00 am. The person causing the noise must be contacted on their own initiative before complaining to the office.

Forbidden

1. Euphoriant substances: The use of euphoriant substances is not allowed at the dormitory and will result in expulsion.
2. Placing objects: In order to keep escape routes intact, no objects may be placed in corridors, stairways and hallways. Objects may be removed without liability and notice.
3. Smoke alarm: Do NOT cover or dismantle the ceiling-mounted smoke alarm!

Waste and environment

1. Waste: Must be placed in the containers provided and not elsewhere. Waste is sorted and it is your responsibility to sort correctly. For disposal of furniture and the like, please contact Blå Kors on tel: +45 75 78 18 18 18 or email: horsens@blaakorsgenbrug.dk.
2. Batteries: Put them in the battery buckets installed at the waste stations and the garage.

Practical rules

1. Technical issues: If there are any technical issues, such as leaking/running toilet/tap or similar, please contact the caretaker or the office.
2. Windows: In stairways and corridors MUST be kept closed.
3. Laundry: Washing and drying rooms must be left in a tidy condition. Laundry baskets must not be removed!
4. Common areas: It is the resident's responsibility to leave the dormitory facilities in a neat and tidy condition. This applies both indoors and outdoors.
5. Vacuum cleaner: MUST be cleaned/emptied and returned after use, the same day!
6. Pets: One small pet is allowed, but must not be a nuisance to other residents or the dorm facilities/equipment. As soon as it is outside the apartment, it MUST be on a leash throughout the entire dormitory area!
7. Fire: In the event of a fire alarm, all residents in that block must leave the building until the alarm is cancelled. Fire doors may ONLY be used in case of fire. 

Violation of the above points will result in a warning or immediate expulsion.

In general, show consideration for each other, talk to each other and warn neighbours if a party is being held.
