Here you will find answers to the most common questions about Horsens Studieboliger. If there is something you cannot find an answer to, you are always welcome to contact us.

How to terminate your lease?

The lease must be terminated with a 3-month notice period, effective on the 1st of the month. The termination can be easily done through our website.

You must vacate the property no later than 14 days before the lease expires, as this period will be used for apartment repairs.

The lease must be terminated once you have completed your studies, unless otherwise agreed.

Can I request which block I want to live in?

In the application form on our website, you can select the blocks where you wish to live. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences, and when you receive an offer for an apartment, we will try to offer you a home in your desired block, depending on availability.

Fitness rules and information

Horsens Studieboliger offers two well-equipped fitness rooms for our residents.

One room is equipped with cardio machines such as treadmills, stationary bikes, rowing machines, and more to get your heart rate up. The other room is dedicated to weight training, allowing you to focus on strength exercises.

The fitness rooms are free for use by the dormitory residents, but it is not allowed to bring guests.

How can I find the Facebook groups for Horsens Studieboliger?

We have two Facebook groups, one for residents and one for general information.

The residents' group is for everyone living at Horsens Studieboliger and was created to make it easy to post and connect with each other.

Looking for company to watch a movie in the common room, go for a run, play volleyball, work out in the fitness room, or cook together? You can post in the group so others can join your idea.

What can I expect help with?

You can always contact the office with inquiries during opening hours (13:30 - 15:30) or send us an email at kontor@horsensstudieboliger.dk.

The office helps with:

Setting up PBS agreements for rent payments.
Guidance on the use of the dormitory facilities such as laundry rooms, fitness rooms, and other common areas.

The technical department helps with:

Assistance with fixed installations (stovetops, ovens, cookers, and refrigerators).
Replacing light bulbs in fixed lamps in the apartment (bathroom, refrigerator, and range hood).
Help with loose cabinet doors, faucets, and other fixed furnishings.
Assistance with electrical installations (fuses, sockets, and light fixtures).
Help with running toilets.
Issues with keys and keycards.
Short-term lending of tools.

Laundry room rules and info

There is a laundry room where you can wash and dry your clothes. The machines are operated via the Airwallet app. See the current prices by clicking here.

On account/aconto payment and settlement

Tenants pay on account for heating, water and electricity for 12 months (Aug.-Jul.)

Once a year, tenants receive a statement of their heating, water and electricity consumption.
